Writing is so hard!!!!

Tell me how can I improve my writing!!! I have been struggling to write even text. American friends can not understand that sometimes. I am so frustrated then. I do not feel improving. I am trying to read newspapers, magazines. I want to get more vocabulary and less misspelling. I want to type faster too.  Give me some ideas!!!!!
