How do I learn vocabulary

I usually learn vocabulary from books, movies, and friends. When I read books, there are so many words that I didn't know meaning. I find dictionary and memorize. From movies are also same method. Last, learning vocabulary from friends are really good. In my apartment, I usually talking with my roommates. If I didn't know the words meaning, my roommates are teaching me immediately. This three things are my learning new vocabulary and I think these are really good for me.
