How I learn

I learn best by teaching.  I guess that is one of the reasons that I am a teacher.  When I was in 8th grade I had a history teacher that told us to study by reading our textbooks out loud.  I would read my book to my teddy bear.  I would teach my teddy bear about American history.  I enjoy studying for tests with my classmates because it gives me the opportunity to teach them what I know.  If I can teach something, I know that I truly know it.  How do you learn?  Do you learn by reading? By watching someone do something? By doing something?  What helps you to learn and remember information?
